Crosscare
Crosscare’s primary goal is to prevent poverty and social exclusion, promote social justice and provide assistance to those in difficult life situations.
Crosscare’s three main areas of work are:
- Homelessness and Homelessness Prevention
- Youth and Family Support
- Meals and Basic Assistance



Homelessness Prevention
Crosscare provides temporary housing, counselling and legal assistance to people who are at risk of eviction or have already lost their home.

Youth Support
The organisation works with young people, providing counselling, mentoring and support in difficult life situations. There are also services for working with families and parents.

Basic Assistance
Crosscare operates meal centres, social kitchens and food parcel distribution programmes. Assistance in the form of clothing and basic necessities is also provided.
Engaging Dementia
The organisation offers support to families, healthcare workers and care professionals in the field of people with dementia through a creative, respectful and practical approach.

- Development and promotion of therapeutic methods
- Community projects and conferences



Education training
Provides courses and workshops for healthcare workers, caregivers and family members, teaching best practices for caring for and communicating with people living with dementia.

Therapeutic methods
The organisation develops initiatives such as Sonas, a multi-level sensory stimulation programme that helps improve communication and emotional well-being in older people with cognitive impairment.

Projects and conferences
Regularly organises national conferences, online events and campaigns to raise awareness of dementia and reduce the stigma associated with this condition.
