The Facility was opened in 2010 and it was built to replace an old flat complex, that housed many of the community activities for the area. The building of the new facility was part of the regeneration process for the area. Today the Facility is managed by a voluntary board of management and with a small number of dedicated staff who look after the daily operations of the building. The Facility staff are supported in their work by community employment participants managed by Dun Laoghaire Rathdown County Council.

Over the years the Facility has been used for many activities and we are constantly looking to host events, programmes and organisations that will benefit the local community in a variety of ways.
